⚠️ Binance encountered a technical issue resulting in a temporary halt to cryptocurrency withdrawals.
In an official statement, the exchange announced that, for a certain period, they were unable to process withdrawal requests. This interruption was resolved, and cryptocurrency withdrawals resumed at approximately 12 UTC.
It's worth noting that Binance had previously faced withdrawal disruptions in December 2022 following the FTX crisis. In the recent statement, they assured users that their funds were secure, and their technical teams were diligently addressing the issue.
Binance's CEO, CZ, also reassured the community via Twitter, stating, "The technical problem pertains to our software services, and all user funds remain secure."
Update: The technical problem was successfully resolved after approximately one hour, and normal withdrawal operations resumed around 12 UTC.
