The golden monkey was bought for 588 ETH
FreeLunchCapital paid 588 ETH worth $1.43 million for the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), formerly owned by the bankrupt FTX.
The purchase of BAYC#7940took place on October 11, the NFT has a gold skin and is its main feature.
In a post dated October 12, FLC_FlooringLab provided a brief history of revenge against the bankrupt FTX:
âI had 20 million assets locked in FTX. SBF [Sam Bankman-Fried] took some of it from me. Now I'm taking what was his. Simple and fair."

Bored Ape Yacht Club remains the top seller among NFTs, as the figures show - BAYC's daily volume on October 12 was 668.88 ETH. Gold NFTs accounted for 83.4% of the total volume.
