According to TechFlow, on October 9, The Information reported that asset management company VanEck announced the launch of a $30 million venture capital fund called VanEck Ventures. The fund will mainly invest in early-stage cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence startups, further expanding VanEck's existing cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds and private equity fund product lines. The fund is run by Wyatt Lonergan and Juan Lopez, both of whom previously came from Circle Ventures, the venture capital arm of stablecoin issuer Circle.
