According to TechFlow, on October 9, The Block reported that Ryan Salame, former co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, applied again to postpone his prison sentence. Salame's lawyer submitted documents to the court, requesting that the prison date originally scheduled for October 11 be postponed to December 7, on the grounds that Salame needs to continue medical treatment. Around June 29 this year, Salame suffered a dog bite on the face and had previously been allowed to postpone his August prison date to October. Salame pleaded guilty in September last year to conspiracy to participate in illegal political donations and operate a remittance business without a license and was sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison. The prosecutor opposed the application for postponement.
