You can never wake up a person who is pretending to sleep. This sentence is often abused.
Really pretending to sleep? You overestimate the IQ of many leeks and frogs. Most of them are really asleep. Those frogs pretending to sleep have already climbed out of the well.
They stand outside the well, traveling around the world, but tell the frogs at the bottom of the well that the world is only as big as the well mouth. As a result, the frogs in the well are more convinced that they are right.
