🚨 Major Update from Uniswap Labs! 🚨

Uniswap Labs, the driving force behind the renowned decentralized crypto exchange Uniswap, has announced the introduction of a 0.15% fee on select token trades. This fee will be applicable to trades involving ETH, USDC, and several other tokens, but only when executed through Uniswap Labs' frontend.

This newly introduced fee is distinct from Uniswap's existing 'protocol fee' and aims to "sustainably fund our operations," as highlighted in their recent blog post. Hayden Adams, the brain behind Uniswap, emphasized that this "interface fee is one of the lowest in the industry," ensuring the platform's continuous growth and expansion in the crypto and DeFi sectors.

Notably, the 'interface fee' will be levied on trades where one of the tokens is among $ETH, $USDC, WETH, $USDT, DAI, WBTC, and others. However, stablecoin swaps and trades between ether and wrapped ether will remain unaffected.
