The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), one of the region’s leading onshore and offshore financial centres, has launched its Digital Asset Lab with 24 participants who have passed a rigorous selection process.

These participants will benefit from a comprehensive support system to develop, test and market their digital solutions and services.

Participants will develop innovative solutions tailored to meet diverse needs across industries.

By employing blockchain technology, these innovators aim to address industry challenges and drive digital transformation in their fields.

Companies participating in this initiative include ALT Realtech, Bladelabs, Polygon, and Partior.

To enhance the efficiency of the Digital Asset Lab, QFC has entered into partnerships with prestigious international organizations such as:

Google Cloud وMasraf Al Rayan وThe Hashgraph Association وR3.

These partnerships will provide participants with specialized expertise, along with valuable industry insights.

These operations will be carried out in accordance with the newly launched Digital Asset Framework of the Qatar Financial Centre, which aims to build a secure and transparent ecosystem for digital assets, tokenization operations and technology infrastructure.

Yousef Mohamed Al-Jaida, CEO of the Qatar Financial Centre, commented on the importance of this initiative, saying:

Their efforts and expertise will be pivotal in developing digital asset solutions across various industries.

The QFC Digital Asset Lab was launched in October 2023, with the aim of accelerating the development of the digital ecosystem in Qatar, and providing a platform to transform promising digital ideas into advanced technologies applicable in various fields.
