◻️Foreign direct investment in China decreased by 31.5% in the January-August period of 2023, reaching 580.19 billion yuan ($81.80 billion).

◼️According to the data of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce; In the January-July period, investments decreased by 29.6%. This decline accelerated in August.

◻️The decline in investments is attributed to factors such as global economic uncertainties, China's internal problems and geopolitical tensions with the West.

◼️Restrictions applied especially in the technology and finance sectors may have reduced investors' interest in the Chinese market. China continues to offer various incentives to reverse this situation.
