What is the most important thing in trading?

Each person will have their own answer. For me, it is “DISCIPLINE”

There are many trading methods created for us to learn and practice. Sometimes the market “feeds” us so that we think we can “read” MM, and sometimes we will “fall”. And whether this fall is painful or mild depends largely on DISCIPLINE…

Because everything is probability. There is no holy grail in trading, just like no one who does everything successfully.

So, in my opinion, you can choose any trading method “Rsi, wyckoff, price action, bb, fibo, elliot, …” or simply ema lines, fundamental analysis, psychology, onchain… because DISCIPLINE is above all.

If you set a discipline for your trading plan with a capital of 1K, then each order you go to the vol of all seven is only 100$ and no more than 3 orders at the same time, lasting for 6 months for example, that is also a thing to practice. Then, when you see good results, then increase the vol and if you see that it is not good, you should go back to practice again.

There are many people, of course, always understand these things and maintain them for a fairly stable period of time, but suddenly one bad day you have a broken heart, your left hand is abnormally larger than your right hand, your tongue has thorns, it is raining and you crave alcohol... you confide in your drinking buddy about all sorts of things in the world and

break all the DISCIPLINE of a long time before by going to the vol and burning your account.

The ancients have a saying "Dũng kha di tập" - meaning that a general must also go through hundreds of battles to train his "Dũng".So for us traders, discipline can be practiced.
