US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he will run as an independent candidate. Kennedy is a supporter of cryptocurrencies, stating that one of his administration's goals is to "make it the global hub for cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin." Kennedy announced in July that he planned to back the USD with "stablecoins" such as gold, silver, platinum and Bitcoin (BTC).
Kennedy's decision to run as an independent was supported by polls conducted by the super-PAC American Values 2024. According to poll results, Kennedy would be the strongest independent candidate in the modern history of US elections, with 19% support.
However, with Biden and Trump leading the polls for the two main US parties, it seems likely that the next president will be a candidate who does not support cryptocurrencies and advocates CBDC. This could happen despite suggestions within the industry that cryptocurrencies will be a decisive issue for voters in the 2024 presidential election.
What do you think are the chances of a candidate who supports cryptocurrencies being elected president? We are waiting your comments!#USElections#CryptoCurrency
