ChainCatcher reported that according to Fortune, Elon Musk's X announced on Saturday that the company will shut down its business in Brazil while retaining its services in the country.

"Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes has threatened to arrest our legal representative in Brazil if we do not comply with his censorship order," X Global Government Affairs said in a post. "He claims this action is based on a secret order, which we are sharing here to expose his actions."

A spokesman for Brazil’s Federal Supreme Court declined to comment. Musk called the decision to close the Brazilian office “difficult” in a separate post.

It’s unclear how big X’s business is in Brazil. The platform had about 20 million active users in the country as of the first quarter, down about 15% from a year earlier, according to Sensor Tower.
