Wu said that according to Yonhap News Agency, the National Pension Service of South Korea (NPS) disclosed in a 13F document submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it bought 245,000 shares of MicroStrategy in the second quarter of this year, worth approximately US$33.75 million. Previously, NPS purchased 282,700 shares of Coinbase in the third quarter of last year and began to invest indirectly in Bitcoin. As of July 31, MicroStrategy held a total of 226,500 bitcoins, making it the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin other than Bitcoin spot ETF issuers.
