According to PANews, the Special Investigation Team on Emergency Martial Law of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency of South Korea stated that it had investigated nine people, including Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who was acting as president, who attended the cabinet meeting before and after the emergency martial law.
The police said that among the 12 people who attended the state council meeting, except for President Yun Seok-hyue, former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and Unification Minister Kim Young-ho, the other 9 people are under investigation. These nine people include Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, Vice Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Choi Sang-mok, and Minister of Justice Park Seung-jae.
