According to official data disclosed, as of July 31, 2024, the Binance security team has recovered or frozen over $73 million in user funds stolen from external sources this year, exceeding the $55 million recovered or frozen throughout 2023. Of these recovered assets, approximately 80% are related to hacking, vulnerabilities, and theft outside the Binance platform, while the remaining 20% are related to scams outside the Binance platform.
