Morgan Stanley, the largest asset manager in the US, will soon allow its 15,000 financial advisors to recommend Bitcoin ETFs to clients, CNBC reports.

Starting August 7, advisors will be able to advise clients to buy shares of two BTC ETFs: BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund.

Although this is a historic move, cryptocurrencies are still finding it difficult to expand beyond their base. The majority of investment in crypto ETFs in 2024 came from retail investors and hedge funds.
