Golden Finance reported that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and two other major U.S. bank regulators want more information about banks' relationships with fintech companies. The FDIC, the Federal Reserve and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency requested detailed information about these arrangements: including arrangements related to deposits, payments and loan products and services. These regulators said in a joint statement on Thursday: Officials hope that the industry and the public will provide opinions on "the nature and impact of arrangements between banks and fintech companies and effective risk management practices."
