**Jersey City Mayor Eyes Crypto ETFs for Pension Fund**

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop announced plans to allocate part of the city's pension fund to Bitcoin ETFs. In a recent post, Fulop revealed that the pension fund is updating its paperwork with the SEC to include Bitcoin ETFs, similar to Wisconsin's 2% allocation. Fulop, a long-time crypto advocate, emphasized blockchain's significance as a transformative technology.

Wisconsin's pension fund reported $164 million in Bitcoin ETFs, a small portion of its $156 billion assets. While major institutions like Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase have minimal exposure, Jersey City joins Wisconsin in considering crypto ETFs for public pension funds.
