A coalition of seven states led by Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird filed a brief on July 10 opposing the US SEC's attempt to regulate cryptocurrencies, criticizing the SEC's illegal behavior of bypassing the new powers granted to it by Congress and calling on the court to prevent the SEC from exceeding its authority.
