According to a recent report released by Triple-A, a digital currency payment solution provider, about 562 million people in the world will own cryptocurrencies in 2024, accounting for about 6.8% of the world's population, an increase of about 33% from 420 million in 2023. Among them, Asia leads the way in cryptocurrency ownership, with an estimated 326.8 million people holding cryptocurrencies, an increase of 21.8% compared to 2023.

Additionally, people aged 24-35 have the highest percentage of cryptocurrency ownership among all age groups, while the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has the highest cryptocurrency adoption rate, with 25.3% of the country’s population holding some kind of cryptocurrency asset.
