ChainCatcher reported that according to Decrypt, Gemini co-founders and cryptocurrency advocates Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss brothers announced on Thursday that they each donated $500,000 in Bitcoin to promote Senator Elizabeth Warren's defeat in the US Senate election in November.
The Winklevoss brothers have reportedly publicly opposed Warren many times before, calling the senior Massachusetts senator "one of the greatest threats to American prosperity." Tyler Winklevoss said on the X platform on Thursday: "When it comes to cryptocurrency, she is public enemy number one. She is the main planner and promoter of the Biden administration's war on cryptocurrency."
