One of the largest financial companies in Japan, SBI Group, announced the expansion of cooperation with Ripple.
SBI's remittance division, SBI Remit, has been using Ripple services for international money transfers since 2017.
The collaboration will see the creation of a joint venture, SBI Ripple Asia, which will use XRP for money transfers in the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia.
