On July 18, Dunamu, which operates the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, announced that it had released the first transparency report of the Korean cryptocurrency industry in order to cooperate with the implementation of the Virtual Asset User Protection Act. According to the report, Dunamu has restricted employees' immediate family members from selling and exchanging crypto assets on Upbit to maintain the fairness of the trading order and enhance investor confidence, and has established the Upbit Market Monitoring System (UMO) to prohibit price manipulation on Upbit. In addition, Dunamu plans to publish a transparency report on the Upbit website every year.
