BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said Bitcoin is a hedge against excess optimism and a legitimate financial instrument.
In his opinion, BTC plays an important role in investment portfolios.
Fink noted that in the past he was a “proud skeptic” of Bitcoin, but after studying it, he reconsidered his views.
In his opinion, BTC is especially popular in countries with excessive inflation.
“It’s a tool you invest in when you’re scared. You have the opportunity to invest in something that is outside the control of your government,” he said.
