⚫ What is most associated with cryptocurrencies globally is that they represent the “future of money”
⚫ Among respondents familiar with the concept of NFT, 76% of UK respondents have never owned an NFT
⚫ 56% of respondents in Argentina are motivated to own crypto “to save as my local currency is very volatile”
⚫ Only 24% of respondents globally are aware of the Web3 concept
⚫ Respondents in Germany, Vietnam, India and South Africa are more likely to declare that bankruptcies of centralized crypto companies do not affect their trust in the ecosystem
⚫ Nigeria has the highest awareness of cryptocurrencies in the world; 99% of respondents said they are aware of cryptocurrencies, 70% understand basic blockchain technology, and 90% are willing to invest
⚫ Men aged 25-34 generally have a better understanding of cryptocurrencies, while women and older respondents have less knowledge
