When say that Solana is more than a blockchain, it is because of these kinds of things that I find out! But you might be curious, what is the "Solana Economic Zone"?
To understand it better, did some research and it is similar to a special economic zone in the crypto environment. There are several worldwide, the best known is the Crypto Valley in Switzerland; it is an independent, non-governmental organization headquartered in the Swiss canton of Zug. Established in 2017, it leverages Switzerland’s strengths—such as openness to innovation and a sound regulatory framework—to build the world’s leading blockchain and cryptographic technologies ecosystem.
Now, thanks to Solana Foundation, it is possible to make Solana Economic Zone a reality. A space supported by them called Forma has been created by Farhaj Mayan, a community of founders, builders, creators, investors, and policy leaders seeking to contribute to the world through our work and art.
Why does Forma originate?
Today, millions of people contribute their time and labor natively over the internet and earn in dollars and/or tokens.
Crypto is leveling the playing field for people around the world who can now access a liquid labor market on the internet, with just a WiFi connection - irrespective of their governments regressive policies or capital controls.
This is a generational opportunity for techno-optimistic countries and jurisdictions who are eager to create progressive laws, support value creating communities and build infrastructure to capture FDI directly from the internet.
Through Solana Economic Zones, we want to help countries and Formans prosper by co-creating and leveraging initiatives that develop local talent, and attract/retain high-impact people and businesses.

The Goal
Our vision is to co-create Solana Economic Zones (SEZs) around the world, hand-in-hand with the Solana and local communities.
The purpose of a Solana Economic Zone is to build bridges between the web3 economy and Nation’s economies, to help both prosper exponentially.
In the long-run, SEZs will be a magnet and home for some of the world’s best talent to do their best work, and live their best lives.
Phase 1 of this vision are the Solana Economic Zone Assemblies.

Over the next 12 months, we are starting with 1-month Solana Economic Zone Assemblies in LaTAM, MEA, APAC & Europe [each ~200 pax invite-only].
During and after each SEZ Assembly, we, with our Formans and partners, will continue work in host countries to co-create programs, policies, products, and partnerships to:
Attract top talent to visit and potentially live in the host country
Support Solana startups to find key hires and regional leads
Attract more investors and grant managers to fund local talent
Support Solana founders seeking to set up a business or regional HQ
Support startups who want to launch their products in local/regional market
Connect local community founders and developer schools with funding partners

They hit the nail on the head by choosing Argentina, with the recent change of government there is more democracy and open freedom, it is also one of the most developed countries in South America in terms of crypto and adoption is huge, it is one of the main countries with the largest crypto community, they hold IRL events and many companies have bet on the cosmopolitan South America!
There are many possibilities for this event, and it would be even better if it is in the hands of Solana. I would like to know that key people from the ecosystem, private companies, etc. will attend. Also, during this period it is not only about crypto, you will be able to learn about its culture, gastronomy and do tourism within the city.
