According to TechFlow, on July 12, LedgerInsights reported that the Japanese subsidiary of Phillip Securities, headquartered in Singapore, invested in Sony's "Hero Island" and plans to issue security tokens to facilitate consumers to invest in the film through digital securities. The relevant issuance technology is provided by Securitize Japan, whose parent company is supported by BlackRock.

The film is expected to be released in 2025, and the token issuance will be launched next week on a permissioned blockchain, with each token priced at 100,000 yen (about $629).
