According to DL News, the Dutch court rejected the bail application of Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev, and he will continue to serve his sentence pending the appeal trial. Pertsev's defense lawyer said that Pertsev would not abscond and needed to go online to prepare for the appeal trial. Pertsev was arrested in the Netherlands in August 2022, and another Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm will be tried in the United States in September.
