What happened to DeFi?
Many founders don’t understand that “attitude and mentality” is everything.
You have to be passionate about what you do and believe in what you create. Today, DeFi founders often fork projects without truly believing in it. Many raised money for Project A and ended up creating a fork, losing all belief and passion.
That’s why we see so many founders hiding behind screens, unwilling to take power and walk with the community.
The founders of the DeFi summer era had a real passion for decentralized finance. I miss those good old days. We created great stuff. Innovators were everywhere. Now, all we see are forks and more op-stack L2s.
Those old founders inspired others and fostered some of the best projects and innovators we have today. The first step to solving any problem is recognizing that there is a problem. DeFi is broken, let’s fix it.
