Billy Markus, known on the X app as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, who created the iconic meme cryptocurrency DOGE in partnership with IT engineer Jackson Palmer in 2013, used his X handle to once again communicating with its X-million audience.

This time, Markus considered a hypothetical opportunity to earn $5 million within a year. He proposed this idea to the cryptocurrency community, bringing their attention to this potential profit. In his tweet, he asked: "Would you fly on Boeing flights 8 hours a day for a year in exchange for $5 million?"

The discussion seemed to mainly revolve around the quality of flights on Boeing aircraft and anxiety attacks during the flight. Shibetoshi Nakamoto has never revealed whether he agreed to do that in exchange for $5 million.

Dogecoin creator admits Bitcoin's decline.

On Monday, Shibetoshi Nakamoto shared his views on the recent 13% Bitcoin price drop. The world's leading cryptocurrency lost more than 13% between July 1 and 8, falling from $63,750 to the $57,260 region.

Markus published a meme about a sinking yacht, called "Don't Worry." This title answers the meme's question: "How's your crypto?"

Since Monday, Bitcoin has shown a rollercoaster trajectory, gaining 6.20% for the first time and reaching $58,150. That increase was followed by a 4.8% decline and to date, it has ended with a 3% gain. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is changing hands in the $57,250 area.

Markus disputes recent negative crypto research

Over the weekend, Billy Markus published a screenshot of an Independent article about a recently published study on cryptocurrency and its owners.

The study claims that people who invest in crypto assets tend to have “dark traits” in their personalities. The study refers to the "dark quartet". Shibetoshi Nakamoto tweeted that he strongly opposed that view: "I disagree and let me argue at length why I am right."
