A new scientific study claims that cryptocurrency holders often show signs of narcissism, psychopathy and sadism. It is also stated that these people are often argumentative, believe in conspiracy theories, and get their news from marginal social networks. The research suggests that those who invest in Bitcoin “exhibit lower levels of factors associated with analytical thinking.” 😮 It is also stated that cryptocurrency investors have high levels of anxiety, depression, impulsivity, loneliness, mood disorders and stress. This is understandable for people who constantly check their portfolios in the market 24/7 and can become anxious and impulsive during periods of sudden volatility. The research reveals that cryptocurrency holders often get their news from alternative social media sources such as Telegram, Reddit and Truth Social. Researchers note that the typical digital asset investor is generally male, has higher income, and feels that their lives are unfair. This research was authored by Shane Littrell, Casey Klofstad and Joseph Uscinski from the Universities of Toronto and Miami.
