Golden Finance reported that DigitalX Ltd. will launch a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund on Australia's main stock market, becoming the second asset management company to be approved by the exchange operated by the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX Ltd.) to launch such products. According to a statement from the company on Tuesday, the DigitalX Bitcoin ETF will be listed on July 12 with the stock code BTXX. DigitalX said the fund was established in partnership with K2 Asset Management and 3iQ. Last month, the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) approved VanEck's Bitcoin ETF, and DigitalX went public a few weeks later. Sydney-based fund management company BetaShares Holdings Pty has also applied to launch BTC and ETH ETFs on the Australian Securities Exchange.
