Zee Prime Capital's latest report suggests that decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePin) could revolutionize law enforcement, shifting it from state-controlled centralized structures to community-based enterprises. Decentralized security (DeSec), a subsector of distributed infrastructure, could help build distributed surveillance and law enforcement systems, enhancing transparency. Blockchain and decentralized architecture could be particularly effective due to their inherent security redundancies. DeSec applications could also incentivize local communities to bolster existing electrical infrastructure, protecting it from disruptive events like solar flares or EMPs. However, the report also warns of the potential privacy issues associated with increased transparency.
