It is a quote.
As I understand it, the basic investment thesis of the altcoin market is: "one day the bull will come."
Maybe, there have been such strong bulls in the past and some altcoins have provided truly legendary returns. Why wouldn't he come again, right?
However, there is no concrete reason as to why, where or when that bull will come.
I did a lot of research, but I couldn't find an explanation other than "if it came in the past, it will come again." Moreover, even if this bull comes, there is no evidence-based thesis as to which altcoins it will benefit.
Risking 80-90% losses in large investments with such a "weak" investment thesis is, how should I put it, not very wise.
Instead, you cut your losses early and wait for the trend reversal. Maybe the first rise will be missed, but then since there are 5x, 10x, 100x, 200x rises, you have to catch it somewhere.
I think the poisonous effect of "crypto phenomena", whose expertise is self-evident, is very strong here.
However, I do not take seriously someone who makes statements such as "I am at a 90% loss but I will never sell" for two reasons.
Because he's either lying or a really terrible investor. Both mean we should listen to their advice.
This is how I see things as someone looking from the outside.
I wish the best for everyone, I hope all the losses come back.
