[Blockchain News] BlockBeats reported that recently, Bitcoin Core developers launched a disclosure policy called "Critical Bug" to more effectively communicate information about Bitcoin security vulnerabilities. In a letter to members of the Bitcoin Development mailing list on July 3, developer Antoine Poinsot and five other colleagues pointed out that the project has performed poorly in publicly disclosing critical security vulnerabilities, whether reported externally or discovered by contributors.

Poinsot further stated that there is a widespread and dangerous view that Bitcoin Core is invulnerable, a view he believes is "dangerous and, unfortunately, inaccurate." 😯

The introduction of this new policy is undoubtedly intended to improve the security of Bitcoin and is also a responsible attitude towards the Bitcoin community. What do you think about this? Feel free to speak your mind in the comment section and discuss the future direction of Bitcoin together.
