Analysts at Goldman Sachs and MIT studied the artificial intelligence (AI) market to determine its prospects for investors. 🧐 Question: Is the current AI market a bubble ready to burst, or is this the beginning of a new era of technology? The answer is not so simple.

Three Goldman Sachs economists predict a "killer" AI application will arrive soon enough, while one Goldman Sachs economist and MIT professor express skepticism, especially in the short term.

MIT professor Daron Acemoglu stated, "Given the current orientation and architecture of generative AI technology...truly transformational change will not happen quickly and is unlikely to happen within the next 10 years."

Despite this, analysts predict that "tech giants and other companies are poised to spend more than $1 trillion on AI in the coming years."
