Despite the gloom and depression in the market, will $ARB $OP $STRK $ZK benefit?

This market is crazy, and as long as there is a good reason or a story to tell, it is possible to form a big storm within the storm

When reminding $ETH ETF, I also remind L2, but now when reminding L2, I only see $OP $ARB as the best choice, $STRK $ZK $BLAST is one step further.

With the ETF narrative, in addition to $ETH, its L2 camp may also have unexpected events at any time

Because once traditional funds flow into Ethereum, it will be prone to congestion, and L2 must be available to support smoother ecological activities.

As June draws to a close, the airdrop phase of $ZRO and $ZK stands out. From then on, $ZK and $STRK became the largest but most embarrassing and oldest L2 combination in the dead chain, belonging to the Ethereum ecosystem.

It seems that $OP and $ARB are still the two prominent L2s and lead the ETH L2 narrative, with $ARB leading in terms of TVL

$ARB is the L2 ETH with the most active development ecosystem and has the highest TVL ($2.7B) among the L2 crowd.

Needless to say, the community is both large and loyal, and perhaps because the airdrop was so gracious and generous, this $STRK $ZK is worth picking up.

$ARB and $OP are also among the fastest and cheapest gas chains on the market today, thanks to which defi and gamefi activities are booming.

$ARB is at an all time low, if you buy here you won't necessarily get the cheapest price, but it will certainly be cheaper than most retail traders have bought before.

This is a personal opinion, I still did not buy immediately because I am still waiting for the price to react after the ETH ETF approval date on July 4th before taking action.

After several months of intense price action, I think there may be compelling reasons to be bullish on $ARB.

I believe that Arbitrum DAO has shifted gears and is now seriously working to increase the value of the ARB token.

This would make ARB the first L2 token with a value proposition beyond governance.

  • On June 21st, 0xfrisson created a governance proposal that introduced a $ARB staking mechanism, where 50% of future remaining sorter fees (in $ETH) would be used to reward stakers.

Frisson is the lead representative of the Arbitrum DAO, with more than 3% of the quorum delegated to him.

Feedback from the forums has been mostly supportive, which leads me to believe that some sort of staking mechanism is indeed possible.

  • Yesterday, June 28th, the Arbitrum Foundation created a governance proposal to introduce Timeboost, which enables the Arbitrum DAO to earn additional income through MEV.

Interestingly, bids associated with MEV can be collected and burned in $ARB.

Since this proposal comes from the Foundation, I think the chances of it passing are high.

If these proposals are successful, it will open the door for $ARB to achieve value capture, a first for an L2 token.

While it’s unclear how much value this will deliver, the main takeaway is that some of the value created by Arbitrum will now go directly into the token.
