PANews reported on June 29 that Dan Romero, co-founder of the decentralized social media protocol Farcaster, announced the launch of a new in-app payment feature on the X platform. This feature is built for the Farcaster client Warpcast and allows users to pay others with USDC without having to look up or remember addresses, with almost instant confirmation and zero fees. The feature initially only supports the Base chain, and may be added to support other chains in the future.
