⚖️ The SEC filed a lawsuit against MetaMask developer ConsenSys, accusing it of offering securities inside a wallet and operating as an unregistered broker.
According to the complaint, MetaMask made more than 36 million illegal transactions. The regulator also noted the staking service in partnership with Lido and Rocket Pool. As a result, ConsenSys received more than $250 million in commissions.
