Coinbase and Stripe have announced a partnership to enable fiat-to-cryptocurrency and back-to-back exchanges for their customers. 👥 The new integration includes support for USD Coin (USDC) on the Stripe platform, facilitating fast transfers and settlements in fiat currency equivalents in 150 countries. In addition, Coinbase integrates Stripe for purchasing cryptocurrency using credit cards and Apple Pay.

Stripe was previously one of the first payment processors to offer Bitcoin services, but has since dropped support for the digital currency.

At the same time, Coinbase filed lawsuits against the SEC and FDIC, alleging that these government agencies failed to provide required materials under the Freedom of Information Act.

At the center of the lawsuit was the SEC's decision to remove Ether from the list of cryptocurrencies it considers unregistered securities.
