Coinbase has decided not to support the upcoming Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) migration for its users. This includes a $7.5 billion token merger between AI protocols SingularityNet, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol. 🤖

AI Ocean (OCEAN) and Fetch.ai (FET) tokens are planning to merge in July and launch ASI tokens. The initial plan is to transfer OCEAN to FET on July 1st. Later this month, the resulting FET tokens will be merged into ASI.

Coinbase stated: “Coinbase will not perform the migration of these assets on behalf of users.” Instead, Coinbase will allow trading of FET and OCEAN as usual until further notice.

In March, it was announced that users would be able to exchange FET tokens for ASI at a 1:1 ratio.

The unification of the AI tokens was attributed to their announced merger with Ocean Protocol, aimed at creating the largest decentralized AI ecosystem.
