Odaily Planet Daily News According to official news, Paradigm announced that after nearly 2 years of development and a successful audit by Sigma Prime, Reth 1.0 has been released, which is the first production-ready version of the Ethereum execution client written in Rust. Reth enhances the stability of Ethereum, improves synchronization time, storage, and RPC throughput, and can fully synchronize an archive node from Genesis within 50 hours. In addition, Reth is able to effectively utilize resources in various operating settings, inspired by clients such as Geth, Erigon, and Akula. The upcoming Reth 1.1 version will include support for OP Stack. The next major internal priorities are to release the next Ethereum hard fork (Pectra) and launch Reth AlphaNet, with the goal of stress testing the limits of blockchain scalability and accelerating the rollup decentralization roadmap.
