PANews reported on December 17 that according to a document released by the U.S. Department of Justice, OneCoin co-founder Karl Sebastian Greenwood has pleaded guilty to federal charges of wire fraud and money laundering against him. U.S. prosecutor Damian Williams pointed out in a statement that as the founder and leader of OneCoin, Karl Sebastian Greenwood operated one of the largest fraud schemes in history and defrauded victims of billions of dollars with his accomplice Ruja Ignatova.
