[Shiba Inu will develop a revolutionary game ecosystem on Shibarium]
First, Shiba Eternity, a cryptocurrency collectible card game (CCG), will enter closed beta in the third quarter of 2023.
Although the mobile version of Shiba Eternity has existed since October 2022, the team is developing a blockchain version and plans to bring it live on Shibarium.
The move is in line with the growing adoption of blockchain technology by traditional game studios, which are leveraging blockchain technology to develop high-performance, secure and powerful gaming experiences for players.
Interestingly, the Shiba Inu team has also jumped on the bandwagon and is working on a game project powered by Shibarium behind the scenes. The Shibarium version of Shiba Eternity will revolutionize gameplay with the goal of allowing players to earn in-game assets, fuel a player-driven economy, and support community-based governance.
In an interview with The Shib Daily, Angel, head of pseudonymous games at Shiba Inu Games, said the team hopes to showcase the benefits of Shibarium to players and developers with its upcoming Shiba Eternity blockchain game.
Angel confirmed that integrating Shibarium will enhance the player experience, providing a smooth gaming experience with high scalability and low cost.
In addition to Shiba Eternity, Angel also hinted that more games may be coming to the L2 expansion solution. According to her, these game projects will connect developers, players and creators within Shibarium.
Shiba Eternity advisor Mazrael said Shiba Eternity’s tradeable cards and other features will go live in early Q3 2024. Mazrael also hinted that Shiba Eternity is coming to Shibarium soon.
The development comes just hours after the team announced the Shiba Eternity closed beta date. As previously reported, Shiba Eternity closed beta will be launched on Shibarium in the third quarter of 2024.
The closed beta will test all features of the game so the developers can identify and fix any issues. The team will then open the game to the public for testing before launching the game on the Shibarium mainnet.
