[Ethereum’s EigenLayer launches new re-staking options and large payments from P2P.org]
As the largest heavy-staking platform on Ethereum, EigenLayer (EIGEN) has recently expanded its functional services and introduced new staking options for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) holders. On November 4, EigenLayer announced a yield enhancement program offering wrapped Bitcoin and P2P.org distributed rewards. P2P.org is a well-known node operator on the platform.
EigenLayer supports the ARPA Network protocol, allowing users to earn rewards through uniBTC. The protocol enhances liquidity and provides new reward options for Bitcoin holders with uniBTC support.
On that day, primary validator P2P.org distributed $2.2 million in ETH rewards to stakers. As the largest operator, P2P.org manages more than $540 million in mortgage assets to ensure the security of decentralized applications. Its role in the heavy-collateral ecosystem competes with operators such as Figment, Blockdaemon and Ankr.
