According to health experts, HMPV is not a new virus; it is one of the agents causing respiratory infections in children and has been reported in Ho Chi Minh City, representing a low rate (12.5% in children) compared to other agents such as rhinovirus (44.6%), respiratory syncytial virus RSV (41.1%), influenza A (25%).
