Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shared his vision for the future of AI agents, describing them as the next big leap in the evolution of the workforce.
Nvidia also announced several AI projects on January 6 that will help companies build and use these agents.
All about Nvidia CEO's AI vision
Speaking at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last Monday (6), Nvidia's CEO revealed new gaming chips and spoke about the future of AI.
It's very clear that AI agents are likely the next robotics industry and likely a multi-trillion dollar opportunity, Huang said.
Nvidia also introduced Llama Nemotron, a large language model (LLM) that can help developers create and deploy AI agents. A personal AI supercomputer called Project Digits was also released.
According to Huang, AI agents are digital workers that can perform specialized tasks alongside human employees, streamlining operations and increasing efficiency across a wide range of industries. He emphasized that integrating these agents into companies will be as simple as hiring a new human employee.
Huang further explained that AI agents are not just tools. They are autonomous digital workers capable of performing tasks on behalf of humans.
As with any new hire, they can be trained for specific roles. These agents can help you tackle challenges that are often too time-consuming or complex for humans.
HR for AI agents?
In Huang's view, every company's IT department will soon evolve into the HR department for AI agents.
Every company's IT department will be the HR department of AI agents in the future, Huang added.
Just as HR departments manage human talent, the IT team will be responsible for training AI agents within the company.
Nvidia also introduced a project for multiple AI agents, including one for video search and summarization. These agents are equipped to analyze large amounts of video and image content.
However, AI agents can analyze video content 30 times faster than real-time processing. This significant increase in speed enables large-scale video analysis. They are also used in the sports and entertainment industries.
Huang even showcased an AI video analysis agent during his CES keynote, demonstrating how it evaluated the pitching skills of an amateur baseball player versus a professional.
Furthermore, Nvidia CEO made the comments after Sam Altman stated that AI agents are ready to take over jobs. Amid these developments, the market cap of AI agent coins has increased by 5.1% in the last 24 hours. Since Q4 2024, AI agents have been one of the fastest-growing crypto narratives.

Additionally, Haseeb Qureshi, founder of Dragonfly, also highlighted in his predictions for 2025 that AI agents are poised to revolutionize crypto.
