A young Chinese hacker has shocked the global cryptocurrency community by stealing thousands of bitcoins, with a total value astonishingly reaching 1.68 billion RMB!

🔥🔥🔥

This 20-year-old youth from Singapore went from being obscure to becoming a globally recognized cryptocurrency thief in a very short time.

While some in their twenties are planning the largest cryptocurrency theft in American history, involving an amount as high as 315 million Singapore dollars; here I am, also in my twenties, still struggling to make ends meet, having to work overtime at the office on Saturdays.

This Indonesian youth named Marlon Lin, though young, has already accumulated rich experience in the dark web and cryptocurrency fields.

He is proficient in blockchain technology and exchange vulnerabilities, and could have become an outstanding founder of many blockchain companies, but he chose a path of no return—stealing 4,100 bitcoins worth about 230 million USD (approximately 1.68 billion RMB).

This is an astronomical figure, a wealth that ordinary people would find difficult to accumulate in a lifetime.

Marlon Lin used aliases like "Anne Hathaway" and special symbols like "$" for activities online.

His accomplice, A Jie (alias), used usernames such as "VersaceGod" and "@SkidStar".

Their methods of operation were quite cunning: first, they sent "unauthorized Google account access" notification emails using technical means, causing panic among the victims. A few days later, Marlon Lin would impersonate a Google employee to call the victim, asking for account details, and gradually manipulate the victim to gather enough information, thus successfully gaining access to their Google Drive.

In Google Drive, they discovered the victim's personal information, including asset details on the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange platform. Next, A Jie would impersonate a customer service representative from the Gemini platform, contacting the victim and tricking them into downloading a so-called "software that protects cryptocurrency assets." Through this software, they successfully stole the victim's private keys and took away 4,100 bitcoins.

Additionally, it is worth noting that the dog-themed cryptocurrency inspired by Musk, as one of the popular concepts on the Ethereum chain, is gradually emerging and has huge potential for future development. It is expected to become the next highly watched phenomenon in cryptocurrency assets, warranting close attention and research from investors.
