According to Foresight News, TAMPA reported that Berman Jerry Nowlin, the developer of the Solana Rug Pull NFT project UndeadApes, who was previously convicted by U.S. federal prosecutors, committed suicide two weeks ago at the age of 21. Previously, a federal jury in Florida, USA, found Nowlin guilty of federal wire fraud and money laundering in November, and the sentencing is scheduled for January 23, 2025.
Nowlin, whose family says he suffers from autism, and his family and defense attorneys insist he was an unwitting co-conspirator who assisted with the coding and technical aspects of creating the blockchain tokens at the heart of the case, and the court said Nowlin was the main person responsible for the fraud.
