The transaction, detected by Whale Alert, took place at 09:57 (UTC) in the morning, and the total value of the released tokens was determined to be approximately $ 1.07 billion. The transaction started in the "Ripple 25" wallet and its balance soon reached 1 billion XRP. Ripple then moved these tokens to the "Ripple 13" wallet and locked the same amount again. Since only half of the total 1 billion tokens planned for January were released, a second unlocking transaction is expected during the day.
