Foresight News reports that the long-dormant 'Blockchain Bandit' address has become active again, transferring 51,000 ETH (approximately $172.2 million) into a single multi-signature wallet, according to on-chain detective ZachXBT.
Foresight News notes that this address was previously notorious for stealing user assets through a weak private key vulnerability, having stolen over 45,000 ETH before 2019 by guessing private keys. It has a large list of pre-generated private keys and can scan these keys at an extremely high speed.
